Posture Assisted Lying Systems (PAL) is designed for posture management in children with limited mobility as a result of cerebral palsy, traumatic brain injury or stroke.  It is designed to be transported. The block helps to support the hips in lying and consists of a central wedge, adjustable supports for legs and a pelvic strap. The material is breathable, washable and bacteria resistant.  While children are using the block, their position can be changed without removing components. It can be used for supine and side-lying, either for daytime or sleeping, either on the floor or in bed. Some children can move supine to side lying without assistance.
